About HASP Training
HASP Training was established in 2012 by husband and wife team Rupert & Caroline Godesen. Our aim was to deliver bespoke training courses for our clients ensuring that they were relevant and designed for non-military audiences. HASP’s aim is to ‘Prepare not Scare’. Prior to HASP, Rupert gained his experience working for several similar firms and was determined to not only improve the quality of training but to provide a more flexible approach for his clients.
HASP Training in action
Since 2012, HASP has successfully provided Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) all over the world, from Swedish islands to Peruvian and Mexican mining towns. We run bespoke travel safety courses for a variety of clients including charities, TV production companies and one of world’s most successful advertising agencies. HASP also provides training for several UK universities by helping prepare undergraduates for their elective years overseas.
Rupert has spent over 27 years in the British Army and has deployed on several operations worldwide. He incorporates this experience, together with the knowledge gained from his numerous qualifications, into the training to ensure that he and his team deliver the best possible HEAT courses.
We have hand-picked the HASP team to ensure that each trainer is not only an expert in their field but that they are able to deliver the course in an engaging, non-aggressive style.
Our Medical Instructors are all British Army medics with decades of experience. They provide hands-on practical training and realistic scenarios, including how to deal with car crashes and trauma first aid. On completion of our HASP course, you &/or your staff will be able to deal with a wide variety of medical emergencies and qualify for The Emergency First Aid Certificate.
I thoroughly enjoyed the course - given my very limited knowledge I of course learnt loads in terms of first aid (Stu was great) and picked up lots of extra really useful security tips, which give me added peace of mind and hopefully the ability to react well in the unlikely event of a sticky situation. Thank you!
